The title, Your Sacred Yes: Trading Life-Draining Obligations for Freedom, Passion and Joy, struck my heart. I have always been the one that would volunteer for things or could not say no when asked to do things. All this led to was frustrations and stress. This book helps to address this from a biblical viewpoint/5(22). Since the book was titled "The Sacred Yes" (a title I don't really like) I thought it would focus on "yes"; but two thirds of the book was on the "wrong" yes, and how to say "no" instead. Perhaps the title should be, "The Sacred No", though in either case, "sacred" seems not to be the right word/5(7).

Sacred book definition is - any book (as the Bible) regarded by a religious body as an authoritative source or divinely inspired statement of its faith, history, and practices. In six powerful minute sessions that expand on her book Your Sacred Yes, Susie Larson explores more deeply how God can help you live out each day in a way that honors Him and strengthens you. Each session focuses on biblical ways to discern God's best for you: 1. Say Yes to God's Wisdom and Power 2. Say Yes to God's Provision and His.

The Sacred YES as revealed to Rev Deborah L. Johnson, volume 1 of the Letters From the Infinite series, is the text. “These letters are an invitation to deepen our relationship with the Divine. As they acknowledge our strengths and frailties, constructs and confusion, they encourage, chide, and carry us across the threshold of our greater yet to be.”.   The Sacred Yes speaks to us individually and collectively, providing new paradigms for our interpersonal relationships, societal institutions, and global affairs. The act of unconditional surrender to the unknown-without reservation or hesitation-is what transforms every circumstance into something that benefits us all/5(14).
